Bought this just to tidy up my little Pomeranian. I don't like the way groomers want to shave and shape him to look like a stuffed animal. I can buzz the sanitary areas myself and I like to take an inch or so off the tips. Decided to upgrade from the cheapos I bought on Amazon 4 years ago. They worked just fine until I lost the charging cable. At 5x the price I expected these clippers to be substantially better. Nope. They wouldn't even cut through his undercoat. Returning for refund.

I’m a professional groomer that needed a quick replacement clipper while mine was in for repair. This clipper is hard to use. The blade hinge is very tight and difficult to open. The blade drive needs to be perfectly aligned to change blades, and can take several tries. I don’t think it was really meant to swap blades. Not powerful enough for pro use, and way to difficult for an “at home” groomer.

Horrible and didn't work. Wast given a receipt so I couldn't return

I bought these clippers and ordered different blades to use. The blades I bought work better and don’t make a small high pitched noise like the 10 blade does. It’s almost like they came dull or something is wrong with them but it gets the job done until I order a new blade but disappointing since the cost and they were purchased new.

They get really hot within 5 minutes of using them. Not a good thing

I bought these in May of 2017 and have used them on ONE small dog, a 6 lb. Yorkie. I cut her hair at most 3 times per year, so I estimate that I've used these 15 times at most. For the last couple of years, the clipper body has been getting too hot to touch after only about 10 minutes. I've tried thoroughly cleaning the body and blade, loosening the blade screws a touch, re-lubing during the cut, etc. and nothing worked. Today, I took the blade off and let the clippers run without the blade (starting them cold). After 12 minutes, smoke started to rise off the clippers. I've contacted Andis, and the only recourse I have is to send them in for servicing, which will cost me a minimum of $75, likely more, plus shipping. If they can't repair them, I would still have to pay the servicing fee. These are supposed to be top of the line clippers, with a price to match. I've got a MUCH cheaper pair of human hair clippers from another brand that has lasted me 15 years and hundreds of haircuts and still run great. These are garbage.

This clipper does not work as advertised! I have a mini Australian Shepard and it took 2hours to trim her. Will never purchase again!

I have been grooming for over 10 year ,been threw many clippers an for some reason these r the clippers I always go back to…I do 10 pluse dogs a day, if u r haveing trouble with these clippers u r doing something wrong , matted ,dirty , long , coarse, ect they never do me wrong !!
