I am looking to get a bigger cage for my 2 year old conure. Currently I’m in the market to buy one online that is advertised as a “solid metal cage” coated with “non-toxic hammertone paint” which included stainless steel dishes. I was just wondering if this would actually be a safe cage for a green cheek. The seller is YaheeTech, which is based in Ontario California but customer pictures show a box with "Made in China." Mostly 5 stars, with lowest rating be 3 stars. Is non-toxic hammertone safe?

Hi! I ordered a Congo African Grey baby from a pet store/breeder in Chicago. She was 12 wks old. At 17 weeks I found her dead I'm the bottom of her cage. Necropsy shows pneumonia, aspergillis due to sever PBFD suppressing her immune system. Breeder denies having PBFD in his birds, but she was the only bird I had, and I truly believe she came to me with it. Do I need to destroy all toys, perches, stands, swings and all equipment?
