I was taking my dog out and noticed a small toad on the porch. Are all toads toxic or just certain ones? I snapped a picture of it and tried to keep my dog away from it.
Samson had a large wood house toad in his mouth. Now he is throwing up white foam. Is that kind of toad poisonous to dogs? What should I do?
I am looking to get a bigger cage for my 2 year old conure. Currently I’m in the market to buy one online that is advertised as a “solid metal cage” coated with “non-toxic hammertone paint” which included stainless steel dishes. I was just wondering if this would actually be a safe cage for a green cheek. The seller is YaheeTech, which is based in Ontario California but customer pictures show a box with "Made in China." Mostly 5 stars, with lowest rating be 3 stars. Is non-toxic hammertone safe?
My dog got poisoned by ingesting dead frog. He is now confine at our local vet clinic and is in on going medications. How many chance of survival does he have?
My dog picked up a small frog/toad in his mouth. It's been about 10 minutes and he seems ok so far, will he be ok? If the frog/toad was poisonous would it happen right away, or could it slowly happen? Should I take him to an emergency vet or keep an eye on him for the rest of the night?

I purchased a pollywog for my grandson from a childrens catalog. Pollywog is now a frog. Hi! I ordered a Congo African Grey baby from a pet store/breeder in Chicago. She was 12 wks old. At 17 weeks I found her dead I'm the bottom of her cage. Necropsy shows pneumonia, aspergillis due to sever PBFD suppressing her immune system. Breeder denies having PBFD in his birds, but she was the only bird I had, and I truly believe she came to me with it. Do I need to destroy all toys, perches, stands, swings and all equipment?
