Forti-Flora (made by Purina) is approved for use in pets with food allergies. Although it is beef-flavored, the flavoring is made from a hydrolyzed protein that cannot trigger any allergic response - so this is my usual "go-to" probiotic choice for a pet with allergies like this.

I have not personally used or prescribed Pro-Bind, but it looks similar to a product I use commonly in pancreatitis patients with diarrhea called Pro-Pectalin. Generally, we avoid fats in dogs with pancreatitis. If you are simply wanting a pre/probiotic product, powders will contain less fats and should be appropriate to use.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Poor Nino! I like probiotics formulated for dogs. My favorite is Purina Fortiflora. If the diarrhea doesn't improve in a couple of days on a probiotic I recommend that you take Nino to the Vet. They can start him on an antibiotic to help! https://www.chewy.com/purina-pro-plan-veterinary-diets/dp/50029?utm_source=google-product

There are several excellent probiotics out there. My favorites are Purina Fortiflora and Proviable by Nutramax. And yes, probiotics are considered safe to give with virtually all medications. Best of luck to you and Cash!

I am not familiar with this specific product but it is made for dogs and cats (so mammals) not birds (avian). Obviously birds and dogs/cats have different nutritional requirements. It probably won't hurt the birds but I am not sure if it will help anything. If your vet recommended it I suppose they have experience using it??? I would actually recommend this one instead as it is especially formulated for birds: https://www.amazon.in/Vetafarm-Probiotic-90-gm/dp/B001LK9158/ref=sr_1_1?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1511228932&sr=1-1&keywords=bird+probiotic+vetafarm Hope this helps. Best wishes.
