Established in 1980, Oxbow Animal Health is a family-owned and operated small pet care company that believes quality of life begins with quality care. Their products are manufactured in Nebraska, and their hay is all grown in the USA. Oxbow pet products consist of small animal food, bedding and litter, small animal toys, feeding supplies and water bottles. They also have fun and functional critter accessories.
The Oxbow Organic Way line is 100% organic with feed for rabbits and guinea pigs. Their meadow hay is certified organic, full of fiber and can be used for many different small pets. The Simple Rewards line of Oxbow small animal treats has a variety of flavors, like sweet snacks containing apples, bananas and strawberries, or more savory munchies that include dill and bell pepper. There are baked treats and delectable freeze-dried fruits. The baked treats all contain hay, which is a vital staple in many small animals’ diets.
The Oxbow Essentials line has feed for all sorts of small animals—like rabbits, rats, gerbils, guinea pigs and chinchillas. It contains the vitamins and minerals needed to give your small pets a well-rounded, wholesome meal. All Oxbow Essentials products include Timothy hay, which is known for its digestibility. Oxbow small animal hay and grass is vital to your pet’s lifestyle and should make up at least 70% of their diet. The small animals that need hay in addition to Oxbow food include rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, tortoises, prairie dogs, degus and others. Plus, many small animals like rats, hamsters, mice, gerbils, hedgehogs and ferrets will forage, nest and play in the hay.
Along with nutrition, Oxbow pet supplies are also very high-quality. Their Oxbow Enriched Life pet toys are crafted with natural materials designed to stimulate and entertain your pint-sized pets for hours. They have shakers, forage pots, Oxbow small animal chew toys and even play tables and walls to delight your pet. These Oxbow pet toys are designed with your small animal’s natural behaviors in mind and constructed to nurture your pet’s mind and body in a secure and fun way.
Oxbow pet products small animal waterers and bottles come in a variety of sizes and shapes. The water bottles are designed to be dripless, and they also have chew-proof versions made of glass and metal if gnawing is a problem. The Oxbow Enriched Life food bowl can be great to hold either feed or water, and it’s designed not to tip over. The forage bowl helps them slow down while eating, and they can add some fun to food time while encouraging moderation by making the food a little more challenging to eat.
The Oxbow Pure Comfort litter is made of 100% pure, never-printed paper and comes in either white or tan for a soft and comfy bed for your critters to snuggle in or burrow into. It is purity tested and free of additives, and the bedding can trap up to 800% of its weight in moisture for excellent absorbency and odor control.
Oxbow Eco-Straw litter is made entirely of wheat straw and is naturally absorbent and dust-free. It clumps for easy disposal, and the pellets expand to hold 300% of its weight in moisture. It’s also consumable, so if your pet eats it, there’s no need to stress—it actually has a high fiber content. Along with small animals, they also have larger Eco-Straw pellets for large rabbits and cats.

Oxbow has pellets and timothy hay in their product line. The majority of the diet should be timothy hay or similar grasses. Pellets should be limited to no more than a 1/2 cup daily. Alfalfa should not be offered after 7 months of age. Trim nails every 3-4 weeks if necessary. Your veterinarian can show you how initially. Teeth should be checked monthly. A yearly exam should include a dental exam and teeth trimming if indicated. Symptoms of overgrown teeth include decreased appetite, drooling, pawing at the mouth, swelling or discharge.

Thanks for reaching out about Fluffy. Oxbow Critical Care is basically, mulched hay, with added nutrients. The high fiber content is important for the health of the intestinal tract. It being mulched, allows less energy needed to masticate prior to ingestion. Added vitamins and other nutrients will help sick/ill animals in recovery. Good luck.

Oxbow has the best and highest quality products for small animals. I would use them. https://www.amazon.ca/s?k=oxbow+hamster+treats&crid=3T6HOVJLD89VW&sprefix=oxbow+hamster%2Caps%2C159&ref=nb_sb_ss_i_6_13 I am not familiar with the Living World brand as we don't have that here in the U.S. so it is difficult for me to comment on that.

Yes, you can give both together. The Digestive Support does not do anything for hairballs though. Here is an article on how to prevent hairballs in rabbits. Hope this helps. ( https://www.thesprucepets.com/how-to-prevent-rabbits-from-getting-hairballs-1237206 ) Best wishes.
