I took Lilly to the vet on Tuesday because her one eye either closes all the way or closes halfway all they did was give her an antibiotic shot and put some dye in her eyes and they notice that she doesn't have as much tearing in the one eye that kee
You can use artificial tears in her eye three times a day to keep the eye lubricated. This is made to help with dry eyes. It's a sterile ointment that you can get at a human pharmacy. They may think she has an infection that is contributing to her problem so it may improve with the antibiotic injection. If it continues there is a prescription eye medication specifically for dry eyes. Please have them check the eye again in two weeks. Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help you care for Lilly.

How often should dogs receive dorzolamide and timolol eye drops for glaucoma?
Hi and thank you for using Boop by Petco. Dorzolamide is typically used every 8 hours and Timolol is typically used every 12 hours. However, this may change depending on the severity of the glaucoma and clinical results achieved. I would defer to your veterinarian for dosing protocols and instructions.

Hi my dog had her eye removed 8 days ago then suddenly today she had blood and pus dripping off her face like something had burst The vet cleaned her up and took a swab and gave her an antibiotic injection Tomorrow she starts a course of Synulox I

I would recommend using Vetericyn Ophthalmic Pet Gel which can be found at your local PetCo to help try and relieve the eye irritation. If this does not help, I would recommend discussing other options with your veterinarian and prescription strength eye drops that contain a steroid to help relieve the eyes from irritation. After an eye accident I am giving Simba Oflox eye drops 7 times a day since 20 days but improving is slow.Any strongest medicine for better results.Thanks
Seven times a day is excessive. Ofloxacin is typically administered every 6 hours (4 times daily). If there has been no improvement in almost 3 weeks, a recheck with a veterinarian or a veterinary ophthalmologist is strongly recommended. We cannot legally recommend any medications without first physically examining Simba.
