How to care for a hibernating tree frog?
It looks like a Gray Tree Frog (Hyla versicolor) in the attached images. Care is quite simple for this frog. They are very hardy, tolerating a wide range of temperatures and humidity. IF they hibernate, simply provide a moist substrate (typically a coconut fiber and soil mixture) for them to burrow. If they are active, offer crickets every few days. Leopard geckos are great "starter" reptiles. They don't require special lighting (UVB) like other reptiles. A 20 gallon tank is big enough for one. Add a heat source, hides and a water bowl and you are good to go. Make sure the tank is large enough for him. Confirm proper environmental parameters as well (substrate, cage furniture, humidity, temperature, etc.). If even one parameter is "off" or if his water is dirty, it may cause stress and the desire to escape the enclosure.

Thanks for reaching out about Carmine. Not sure what type of food you are searching for, a powder to top-coat insects. A variety of insects can be offered, and gut loaded. Vitamin D3 can be over supplemented so powdered should only be used once weekly. Exposure to ultraviolet B radiation is very important for the absorption of calcium in the intestinal tract. Catch insects outdoors, as long as your not spraying. Good luck.
