At eight weeks of age, I wouldn't give treats just yet unless you are training Blueberry. I like Beggin Strips. As for food, he should be fed three times a day, once in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Each food has a different daily requirement, so look at the instructions on his bag of food, and divide the daily requirement into three equal portions. Best of luck.

Well I personally like Beggin Strips. My dogs love them, and there is no chance of a choking hazard. I never recommend rawhides due to choking and obstruction concerns. Normally I'd recommend pig ears, but I understand there is a salmonella outbreak now with pig ears. I don't do many treats because they really aren't needed.

Feed him three times a day the amount specified on the bag. Take his food away ten minutes afterwards so he learns that he has to eat then or it is gone. If he missed a few feeds it is not really a problem.

Oh my, those dogs! Can't really blame them, bacon bits are delicious lol. You have two options. You can take them both into a vets now to have vomiting induced. Otherwise you can watch them. If you see vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, anorexia, or lethargy, have them seen by a vet immediately. Best of luck.

81 mg is the double dose of aspirin for a dog weighing 6lbs. Please take Guido to a Pet ER now so they can make him regurgitate the aspirin before it gets completely absorbed, . Do not leave tablet lying around as he will do it again. Begging behavior is usually stopped by NEVER giving treats or food from a human hand and only feeding from the bow;. He also need to learn the word NO.
