Amlodipine Besylate

Took my cat to the emergency vet last night. Spent a lot of money. Daisy has sudden severe hypertension, no primary causes found, all labs normal. The amlodipine has not helped her symptoms. Can I double up on her meds?

Can tony take a lysine supplement with his other meds:amlodipine besylate, methimazole, tumil K potassium supplement and mirtazapine appetite stimulant? He also eats a kidney diet and I wonder if the powder lysine supplement may flavor the food and make him like it better? Thanks!!

My poor Kitty started on a new Heart med called amlodipine 2.5 mg (1/2 tab) I don’t think he’s lathagic but he sure isn’t drinking much water. He was just diagnosed with Moderate cardiac myopathy. He had a drink well drinking fountain but I was tired replacing them..had it for years. Am I stuck supplying fountains? Or is something wrong? He appears to be fine but cats are so good at covering up what’s going on. His name is Olie he’s a Four and a half and a MainCoon. Thank Yo

can lasinopril replace elanapril ....? or what human drug is the same as elanipril??

Hi, i have a 10 year old chihuahua and he has been diagnoser with endokardiose 3 months ago.he is prescribed furosomide 10mg twice a day, pimobendan 0.75mg twice a day and 1,25mg benazepril once a day. I have not succeded get in contains with my vet today, and my dog is breathing heavily. About 60 times a minute now. I was wondering og i should Try to give him another 10mg pill og flurosomide. I cant stand watching him siffer like this. Please hjelp. Sorry for crappy english, i am from norway.

Can I substitute Lisinopril for enalapril for 1 dose? Web says yes but would like an expert to advise

my cat is diabetic and has a heart murmur he's on vetmedin and enalapril, b-complex liquid vitamins,zobalin for diabetic cats and cosequin he has a cough due to the heart murmur what can i give him that's natural at home?

I am unable to get my cat's prescription of Enalapril 2.5Mg refilled until Tuesday. He is taking 1 pill in the AM and half a pill at night. I gave him half a pill this AM as that's all I had left. So he will not be able to take any tonight, tomorrow or Monday. Should I be worried about him going without the drug for that long? Thanks for any help. 12-14 year old boxer w B hip dysplasia and boxer cardiomyopathy. on sotolol and rimadyl. also takes DES for hormonal incontinence. Progressive symptoms in past 6-8 months w SOB upon minimal exertion or excitement, very characteristic of lar par. wanted to know your thoughts on doxypin.

My 80 pound dog was put on 2 doses of 20 mg per day of elanapril maleate. Online it states that the typical does is given once per day. Was she prescribed too much?
