Hi tony is on amlodipine for hi blood pressure and my vet is getting ready to start him on mirtazapine appetite stimulant so he’ll hopefully eat his kidney diet. Can mirtazapine affect his blood pressure? Thx
A vet that specializes in neurology provided me with Gabapentin 50 mg tabs to give my cat twice a day. There are no numbers on them, just white round scored tablets. Evertthing I google says lowest dose is 100 mg. Concerned I may have been given the wrong medication.

My poor Kitty started on a new Heart med called amlodipine 2.5 mg (1/2 tab) I don’t think he’s lathagic but he sure isn’t drinking much water. He was just diagnosed with Moderate cardiac myopathy. He had a drink well drinking fountain but I was tired replacing them..had it for years. Am I stuck supplying fountains? Or is something wrong? He appears to be fine but cats are so good at covering up what’s going on. His name is Olie he’s a Four and a half and a MainCoon. Thank Yo
I am unable to get my cat's prescription of Enalapril 2.5Mg refilled until Tuesday. He is taking 1 pill in the AM and half a pill at night. I gave him half a pill this AM as that's all I had left. So he will not be able to take any tonight, tomorrow or Monday. Should I be worried about him going without the drug for that long? Thanks for any help. My 14 year old cat has bern diagnosed with primary hypertension due to all blood tests returning normal. She is on Norvasc but has develooed muscle weakness in her hind limbs. Is this a side effect of Norvasc? The muscle weakness in hind legs came on suddenly asd she has been on Norvasc for 3 weeks.
