It could be that Zoe is getting too much human food, she likes it better, and that's why she isn't eating her dog food. She knows she will get human food. Put her food down in the morning, and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Pick it up after that time even if she hasn't eaten it. Then this is the important thing: Do NOT give her any food at all in-between meals. No human food, no treats, nothing. At dinner time, put her food down, and again leave it for 15-20 minutes. Pick it up after this time, and she doesn't get any food at all until the next morning. She will get hungry enough to eat. To be safe, having a health check with the vet would be a good idea just to make sure everything is ok. I hope this helps!

In my opinion, two of the most palatable commercial diets are Royal Canin and Purina ProPlan. Make sure to not make Zuzla into a picky eating by switching foods frequently, feeding human food or offering a lot of daily treats. Adult dogs should eat twice a day. Please post any additional questions.

Hi, thanks of using Boop by Petco! Zenya is super cute! She does have puffy eyes. It could be from an allergic reaction to an insect bite or to allergies outside. The mainstay of treatment for allergic reactions is an injection of a steroid and an antihistamine from your Vet. They may prescribe an ointment for her eyes as well. I recommend that you set up an appointment for Zenya tomorrow with your Vet. I wish Zenya a speedy recovery!

She can have a few different things going on. She can have a urinary tract infection or she may have an upset stomach from eating human food. I recommend calling your veterinarian in the morning and having a physical examination performed to see what is going on. Thank you for using Boop by Petco.

I'm a nervous mom too, so I certainly understand what you are going through. The way most vet clinics do surgery is that we try to do all surgeries before 1 pm, so they have at least a few hours to recover before they are sent home. Most vets prefer to do dog spays first, so Sienna may already be done with surgery! Often, we do not call after each surgery is over, but will call after all surgeries are over for the day to verify pick up time. But every vet clinic does things differently, so I can't be sure how your vet clinic does things. I'm sure everything is going well, but if you really need to know if Sienna is done with surgery, you can always call to check on her. It certainly wouldn't be the first time an owner has called to check on their baby. Good luck! I hope that made you feel a little better. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.
