You may need to mix the antibiotic in a syringe of water and give it to her that way. If the antibiotic is a liquid you may also be able to mix it with peanut butter and feed it to her. You will need to ask your veterinarian about the exact dosage because it will be very different from the amount you’re putting in her water bottle. It may be stress or boredom. Hamsters need to chew to keep their teeth filed down. Provide a variety of chew toys and hides to keep her busy. A wheel is good for exercise as are tunnels that she can move through.

Thanks for reaching out an including a photo. At home for now, keeping the rectal area clean with a baby wipes or warm moistened wash clothes. Any fecal matter should be removed as soon as possible. Offering Pedialyte through a syringe, then wettened rodent pellets for calories. Diarrhea in rodents has many causes including bacteria and parasites. A visit to the veterinarian would be a better chance at least to perform a fecal exam for parasites. Store purchased products have a poorer prognosis for recovery that veterinary products and after a targeted diagnosis. Good luck.

If she will allow, check her teeth to see if they are overgrown or maloccluded. Either may result in a decrease or loss of appetite. Soak her pellets in warm water or a bit of fruit juice to stimulate her appetite and make eating easier. If she still does not eat or continues her aberrant behavior, have her physically examined by your veterinarian to diagnose illness or injury.

yes, mice can make good pets if you handle them enough. They need their cage cleaned once a week. Rats can also make very engaging pets.
