How much Pasta Blend should small Amazon be fed daily?
- We use this as an enrichment item in there food bowl or foraging box/tube. It is fed with a variety of bird foods. It is not a main food source. We only give 4-5 pieces of it. They do like to grind it with beak and make a fun mess. That’s why I say enrichment!

I have a 22 year old Timneh African Grey parrot. I have used Harrison's pellets medium size in the past. It has been discontinued. My parrot won't eat the fine size and drops the large size into water. I need suggestions of what else to use.

We're wondering if there's anything we can do to improve her diet. Right now she is eating pellets (Zupreem, converting to Zupreem naturals), seeds, and we offer veggies every day despite her never really finishing them. We're now grinding up a Tums onto the food every day, as she was egg bound recently. We get 30-60 mins of time outside a day when possible, for sunlight. Any suggestions, or does this look fine? My bird has switched to Lafeber’s Daily Diet pellet food. She gained too much weight with the other food she was on. I noticed she is eating it, but it’s turning into something similar to sawdust. She does seem to eat the dust though. I don’t know to give her more or not. I’m giving her 30cc of it a day. I don’t want her to get malnutritioned, but I don’t want her to gain weight. She needs to lose weight. What should I do? Should I have her eat the dust that’s left, or give her more pellets?
