Best suited for arborial geckos

ReptiGal71

This enclosure is best suited for arboreal geckos and small lizards definitely not for iguanas, tegus or even chameleons since they grow large and will have a weight your vines or braches won't be able to support. Again this will do great for small species such as cresties, day geckos, gargoyles and similar. Keep in mind screened enclosures don't hold humidity and most of these reptile most of these reptiles need high humidity so you will need a misting system to mist at least three times a day or close the back and sides with a barrier such as waterproof cardboard.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great enclosure for juvenile iguana

Perfect for my juvenile iguana! I know he will need a much larger enclosure as an adult. Sturdy and easy to assemble. I’d recommend this for anyone getting a juvenile iguana.

I bought when had a less than year old iguana. Bought this and hubby laughed cause he was tiny compared to cage. A year later he was big enough. Grew fast since had a larger space. I just wish it came with more than 1 shelf.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not Suitable

This product is not suitable as a full-time terrarium for any desert species. Way too small. Please keep in mind that bearded dragons need upwards of 100 degrees F for a basking spot, and this just doesnt do it. They are not arboreal and dont need space to climb upwards. Also not suitable for snakes... most species need at least three walls blacked out to feel safe.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Better for certain sizes

While I doubt this cage is adequate for any iguana over a certain length. It was perfect for my rather large bearded Dragon and the wiring helps keep it as dry as he needs it to be without overheating him. Probably better for desert reptiles than tropical ones for this reason.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Nice and durable

The IguanArium is a great size, and is built durable. Very easy to assemble. My Hatchling looks lost in it, but seems very happy. Lots of room to roam around. When allowed to roam the house she makes her way back to the cage. Humidity was a problem at first, but we purchased a warm mist humidifier which we placed inside the cage, under the basking shelf. It's not ideal, but gives off 50% humidity. Can't wait to take this outside, when the weather is warm enough.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Ok so will this work for a full grown green iguana, because I need an enclosure?

  1. depends if its under 3 then yes but over that way larger

Would this be good for spoiling a crested gecko?

  1. To be honest...i feel it will be would beto big personally. Your gecko might get anxiety. Mine holds an iguana so im just using my pet size with your pet size....you could possibly try the Zoo Med Reptibreeze LED deluxe open air X-Large cage?.Hope this helps!!!..

I have a Veiled and is doing great as he's my first. The cage states "powder coated", which is great and withstands our parrot's beaks. I usually free feed Wilson his crickets (enrichment and exercise)but how to keep them from climbing through the grates?

  1. I would recommend you secure window meshing to the frame to prevent crickets from escaping.

Are the gaps in the cage small enough to hold a 6 month old chameleon? What are the dimensions of the squares?

  1. The squares are about an inch tall...if you have a female she will get 8 -12 inches long with tail... males are a bit larger they get 12 -19 inches with tail....so I feel this cage would work for you....I have an. Iguana in mine......

Will this give a adult python comfortable living without any issues?

  1. I would be concerned that a Python might push on the doors and may be able to get the latches to come out. Snakes are very strong and can get out of the smallest of places. I would recommend looking for something that is more solid.

Would this cage be good for a full grown Chinese water dragon, approx. 3ft?

  1. no you need a much larger cage

Would this cage be a good habit for a full grown green iguana

  1. A full grown green Iguana will need a larger enclosure. You may need to look into having something custom made when your iguana gets to large for the Iguanarium.

Could this work for a red tail boa

  1. Hi RedTailedBoas227, Red tail boas like other snakes are preferred to be housed inside glass enclosures. Thanks,

i have a juvenile iguana right now and i was wondering will this be big enough for when he is fullgrown ranging from 4-6 feet lon

  1. no unless it is missing its tail

is this tank an indoor tank or outdoor? and can you put a heat lamp on it,without melting the wires?

  1. Used both indoor and outdoor. Depending on the climate. Here in Chicago, I only roll it out, outside, with my supervision, when it's humid and hot. It is an open cage. Had no problems with the heating bulbs ( in a dome, on op of the cage) During the cold seasons, it's indoors in a separate room with a humidifier on 24/7and a large window. My iguana is very happy in it.
