[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Influenster for sending this product in exchange for a review. I had received this smaller ramp and had placed it in a tank with two red ear sliders. Mind you my turtles are growing and have the personality of two chihuahuas. My bigger male turtle oddly enough loved this even though he stuck off of it. My other turtle could care less but my male turtle was hogging it majority of the time. I left it there for a few days to see how they would do and my male turtle thought it’d be fun to flip it over and still somehow lay on it. This product is not super light so apparently my turtle is the problem. This would be perfect for younger turtles(obviously) and not so much for growing turtles whose only life mission is destruction and eating. I feel as if it’d be a perfect addition to your tank or outdoor area for your turtles to bask in. Just keep away from bigger/growing turtles. Although I will be leaving it in the tank since he likes it and who am I to ruin the joy?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Zilla Basking Platform is perfect for our Crested Gecko. It fits great in the corner of his enclosure. It seems sturdy and good quality. Our gecko loves so go on top and underneath this structure. This would be great for any small to medium lizard or a small tortoise/turtle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this to try but unfortunately we do not own a lizard or any type. However, we do have a ball python! I added this to her tank to add some clutter and give her a new place to roam and hide. She likes to curl up underneath it and use it as an extra "scratch" pad when shedding occurs. If it brings my snake so much enjoyment, I am sure this would be wonderful for a lizard of sorts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a great addition to our geckos enclosure. He loves it. I would suggest it being on the cooler side or in the middle because the resin gets super hot to the touch. It is breakable so handle with care. Our little dude loves it.

- I have a medium size bearded dragon and I got her a large so a medium should be plenty big for a russian tortoise. Hope that helps :)

I have a fat adult bearded dragon. I have been trying to find a hideaway that is big enough, but it always is too small. He is around 14 inches and weighs over a pound, so my question is: Will this be big enough for my beardie to lay under?
- Use a shoe box! My older cousin gives me his shoes boxes to use for my 3 year old beardie and she LOVES crawling in it to hide or on top of it on the cool side of her tank. I just cut the lid off the box and an opening on one side so she can just crawl on in and sleep or chill.

Is this product safe to put in the water aquariums ? After I added it my tank water seems to me Milky in color.
- You need to wash it before you put in water

- If you have a larger turtle, or tend to keep the water deeper in your terrarium, I'd suggest to mound the gravel up in the corner where you are keeping this basking platform in order to raise it up further if needed.

- Probably not. My five inch turtle hasn't fit under it since before she was five inches

Would this product work for a turtle that lives in an outside pond?
- It all depends on the pond. The If the pond has a water-level that is not higher than the product then it should work. If the water-level is taller than the product then you could put a large, flat rock underneath it to make an extra step for the turtle. Also, the shape of the pond may depend too. If you want to use this as a step ladder to help you turtle out of the pond then you need a flat side of the pond to put it against. Hope this helps!!!<3
