Can I bring my cat to petco to get fitted for a harness and leash
Hi,from few months I'm walking my cat outside but instead of harness and leash I use a cat cloth and tie from a sweatshirt,the vest is from soft thin material,wide enough for him to get out easy from it,he loves it and is much healthier than before,even started walks for up to 3 hours daily,but his skin became itchy and rough especially on the place that the ties are tide up,he started to scratch a lot causing almost bald spot,how can I stop the itch and soften his skin or prevent it somehow?
Hello! I'm working on harness/leash training my cat so that he can go outside with supervision (we live in a very small apartment). We live in a fairly flea and tick free region, but is there any sort of preventative care that I can do to keep him from picking up those/similar bugs? Cat is about four years old, around 13 pounds. Hey. I have an indoor cat and I dont know that I'm completely comfortable letting him be indoor all his life in a tiny apartment. Now, I have bought a harness and leash designed for cats but I dont know how to teach a cat to walk on a leash or even be comfortable in a bubble bag. Hes terrified of going outside. When I tool him to the vet the other day and his heart was racing. How do I get him comfortable in these? I have tried Feliway, it just doesnt seem to work. What do I do?
PULLING: Off-leash, she walks alongside me. Outside, she wears a comfortable harness(pictured). •I stop and use sit command. If I verbally praise her, she jumps right back up and back to pulling. She doesn’t do treats. If I don’t praise her, she’ll stay until I begin to walk again and she’s back to pulling (repeating steps during entire walk). •Gentle leader. She will not walk and acts too ashamed.
Our puppy is 9.5 weeks old , got him a week and a half ago . He is energetic . We put him on a harness and a leash . He’s just sits down and doesn’t want to move . We even tried to entice him with treats ,he barely goes for the treat , he just comes and sits on our lap not wanting to move , once we take off harness and leash , he is back to his playing self , trying for 3 days now , any tips . We let him be on Harness and leash without us controlling it , but he sits still or sleeps . Any tips ?

How can I manage my Maine coons fur? He never lets me brush him and he has a small spot that is tangled. Whenever I try he bites and gets upset. I have an older cat who loves to go outside. We have a woods behind our garden and she loves it, but letting my 9 month old kitten out isn’t working out. I did lead and recall training and through she was ready. But she jumped the wall as soon as I let her out without a lead and got lost in the woods and I had to go find her and collect her.
