Questions

What is this made of?

  1. These are made from willow trees or shrubs. I don't know the genus and species name of the particular willow. But it's safe for bunnies. I researched this via House Rabbit Society. And my Holland fuzzy lop enjoys them very much. I've been offering these to him for over a year now with no problems. He likes to both tear these apart and eat them, as well as toss them around while they're still in spherical form. Just buy some. Your bunny will love them. And it helps protect your furniture and carpet as rabbits always need a variety of things to chew on.

Are these willow balls untreated and safe for rabbits to swallow?

  1. Hi bunnyowner000, The wood is treated and is safe if ingested. However, remember that these are chews and not treats. Additionally, the product warning listed on the packaging should be reviewed and followed. Thanks,

Can ferrets use these?

  1. Hi Seth Miller, Ferrets can play with these, but they will not chew wood the way a rabbit or guinea pig will. Thanks,
