I am getting a hedgehog and have been told to get a small enclosed space to put in the cage for sleeping. Recommendations???
I need your help here. I've been thinking to purchase a crate and a crate bed and crate cover for my little girl. Since she loves to nap under the table and I thought it'll be much safer and comfortable for her to sleep there from time to time. And safer from the friend's and families children from hurting her. What type of bed would you suggest for my miniature dachshund? She is 3 1/2 months old. She gets cold easily & sleeps w/ me in my bed. I would like to know how we can help our new cat, Mousewhisker, feel at home. He used to be a feral before he was rescued so we would just like to help him fit in in any way we can. We have two dogs and a guinea pig but he is doing well with them even though, he is scared of the dogs barking so we close them in the bedroom when we are not home. BTW, the cat has his own room, bed and toys but does not seem to like them that much.
I have a scaredy cat, Juno. She gets along great with one of my other cats but not my biggest cat, Bitty. When he walks by Juno she shrinks down. He'll chase her until she's cornered and hissing at him. They've never had a "real" fight. but I'm worried it will happen and in addition to being 5 pounds smaller, Juno is also declawed front and back (got her that way.) should I make her more or less hiding places? is this a Juno or a Bitty issue? would meds help?
I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area. Of course he'll be inside the house, and let out in the evenings and sometimes for a bit on lunchtime.
