i bought one but the perch seems to low for the bird to access the hole? How does she get in the hole to get in the box? She just stares at it from the other perch in the cage. She already had two eggs, i put them in the box, should i wait?
- Hi Hieber01, The parakeet should be able to use it’s beak to reach the entry hole. Thanks,

How do you attach to the cage? Will a screw and a bolt work? Thanks!
- Hi Pet lover 8, A bolt and nut will work. It would also be recommended to use a washer(s) to make it easier securing it to the wire cage body. Thanks,

I want to get something to hang so humming birds can come by and have there babies, what do you suggest.
- Hummingbirds don't use nest boxes; they generally build a nest in the fork of a tree branch out of lichens and spider webs. If you want hummers to nest in your yard, provide bird baths w/ splashing water (very shallow, of course) and plant lots of nectar-bearing tube shaped flowers and offer hummingbird feeders with plain (no red dye) sugar water - one cup water + 1/4 cup sugar.
