What toys are the best for parakeets
I have two parakeets in a large cage. I just purchased another one and brought it home. When I opened the box, the bird flew away. it's been 2 hours and i can't get the bird in the cage? She keeps flying away. She is onto of cabinet. So I am leaving her alone for now. I am hoping when she gets hungry, she will be easy to catch. What do i do?
Is there a type of bird cage for parakeets. We have two that are in a basic counter top cage but I wanted to get a bigger one. I was told not to get one with dome top. Is this correct?
It is possible we could be taking in my friends two parakeets. Where do I start? I want to know how to care for them properly before possible owning them. Do you have any tips, tricks, must know things?
Hello my dears! I have a few Canary Birds of Norwich breeds. They want to hatch. Which one of you has enough information about this Canary Breed and who is keeping them too? Thank you so much
Hello. As a bird owner, I have a few questions. I have owned budgies before, but only males, this is my first female and I would like some advice about egg laying/binding. Is there any way to stop my pet budgie from laying eggs, or is there a certain way to help her to lay eggs such as a nest or nest box? Is it bad to stop them from laying eggs? At what age will she start to lay eggs/Do all female budgie lay eggs? And is it bad if I notice that she doesn't start to lay any eggs? Thanks.
My love bird is laying eggs the number crossed 15 right now will it continue and how many days it may take to hatch
Can you name some very exciting treats for birds? I've been trying to connect with my bird for a while now, I've had him for two months, but he still doesn't trust me. I was hoping to get him to like me with some treats.
How can I tell if my baby parakeet is a boy or girl (the green one I had for four years but I still want to be sure of her gender)And is the blood feather on the yellow one okay since it is not bleeding and is dried up?
Hi, my 2 cockatiels laid 9 eggs over the course of a month and 1 hatched yesterday. It is her first time laying eggs and she bit the baby. Now she allows it to stay in the nest but she doesn't feed it and instead just sits on the other eggs. What should we do?
We bought a brother budgie for quiz we recently found out that the new budgie is a girl. We thought they might still get along but she keeps chasing him away and biting him, she is also a very bitey bird and we can't seem to tame her. We're going to sell her to someone who can hopefully get her a bigger cage or find a way to tame her as we can't. How can I help my old budgie cope with this? I suspect he will miss her because they still talked to each other every day. They're cages are close.
My cockatiel is 6 years old female. She is very lonely and we want to buy another one, should it be a female or a male? Also, what should we do the first day they are bought and how do we know they're not sick? I am thinking of getting another female, but a bit afraid I won't be able to differentiate between them. :-( Looking forward to your response, thank you! ♡
