Extremely small. We have a baby ferret and also believe it was the runt of the litter since its smaller then standard. This hammock was still to small for it. The stitching was also cheaply done. The binding along the edges was not even and actually got sewn off the side so that the binding hung off. I was able to buy a better hammock that was bigger and better materials for cheaper online. I felt like their lately has been a shift in quality for stores. If I wanted something cheap and expect cheap, I would just go online. Then if I wanted something decent, products were vetted and approved before going into stores. So I always expected better products in store. On top of overhead, etc., it was the more expensive option, but you knew you were getting a decent product. That is not the case anymore for a lot of things that we picked up for our new ferret. We returned a lot of things because of this and they were also the only option you had in store.

No, I do not recommend this product.

How are the straps adjustable exactly? I bought the Large 17" hammock and they are very short straps with just clips. Nothing else.
