Great for all of my mice! No problems or complaints. It’s definitely safer then the upright wheels made out of medal because there tails don’t get caught.

I bought this when I got my hamster, and let me just say, she HATED IT! She would never spin on it and instead just crawled under and chewed it from the inside out. Then, when I upgraded her cage, I bought her a brand-new vertical wheel and she never stopped spinning on it! (She's so loud that I have to keep her in the bathroom at night...) After that I went to get a single male mouse at a local petstore, I named him Mocha. When I was looking at mice, he was running on the EXACT SAME SAUCER I HAD! I knew he was the one. I brought him home and put him in his cage, and immediatly ran straight to the saucer. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars. Because this is my mouse's favorite thing ever.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    I think this would work for Robos (it worked for my Djungarian hamster) but they may not be interested. It's better suited to mice, at least in my experience.

    Yes, it can! It was big enough for my DJ (Djungarian;I'm hoping people will start calling it that:) hamster. But be warned: She never used it! Ever! It was better for my mouse.
