i am planning to get an hedgehog and looking for wheels but at the moment kind of in a tight budget so was wondering if this would be a good temporary exercise for the hedgehog for the time being
- Hi Jyng, Good day Yes- depending on the size of the hedgehog, this saucer can be used for exercise. Thanks,

Would this be a good size for a mouse or is it too big? I'm looking at getting my mice a wheel and are trying to figure out if i should get them a small or medium wheel.
- The medium size is great for mice. The small will work but they prefer the bigger ones. (I’ve had both sizes in one tank and they always pick the medium one over the small.)

Would this be good for a medium rat or should I get a larger size?
- Please don't listen to the person who answered before me, and get the large for your rats! I have two for my ratty duo (one small and one regular) and the large fits both of them.

is this good for teddy bear hamsters?
- I would say definitely go one size up , this size is good for robo dwarf hamsters, but these are definitely better than the traditional wheel.

Would this fit a full size rat
- A medium excercise is still to small for a full grown rat. You need to get the largest excercise spinner.

What size should I buy for my dwarf hamster? He loves the wheel that can be attached to his cage but its loud so I am looking to get something like this.
- I got the smallest size for my dwarf hamster. The first one was loud and annoying. Bought a second one and it was quite. Spin them in the store to see if they make noise.

What size wheel should I get for a Teddy Bear hamster?
- I don't believe I can agree. This wheel might be fine for a syrian / teddy bear hamster for their first four or so months of life, but I had to take it away from my syrian by then and get her a larger red wheel. I heard that male syrian / teddy bears stay smaller than females, so maybe it might work for them. For my female this became a really tight fit, not to mention she looked awkward and imbalanced, and small animals can strain their spine in such a constant situation.

Would this wheel be okay for a full grown gerbil? Or should I go with a small/large?
- For reference the size large is for guinea pigs but I felt the small was too small and the medium was slightly too big. I have the size medium for my dwarf hamster who is about 6 inches long. Small animals should be able to straighten their backs while on a wheel so I feel this size is good for that.
