Too small for a rat but perfect for my mice! I dropped mine on the floor and it broke which is my fault so I bought another, great price and they love it. Fount it cheaper in store than online in my area. Quiet and smooth wheel.

STUPIDEST design! Imagine having to run at an angle all the time. Thanks, no. None of my pets liked it for more than a day. Terrible product idea. Get a regular wheel and some WD40 if you're worried about a squeak.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Bought this for my gerbils, it worked great. About 3 weeks in, it got hard to spin for them. Since they couldn't run on it they chewed it up of course.

Was great as a starter wheel but the squeaking was bad, couldn't be secured in a tank so kept hitting the glass, and when secured on a topper it flung poop lol.

Great exercise for my hamster

My Syrian Hamster really enjoys this exercise saucer, it keeps him entertained and gives him exercise at the same time. It's really quiet too which is less of a noisemaker than the wheel. Medium was perfect size for my Syrian Hamster.

Yes, I recommend this product.

i am planning to get an hedgehog and looking for wheels but at the moment kind of in a tight budget so was wondering if this would be a good temporary exercise for the hedgehog for the time being

  1. Hi Jyng, Good day Yes- depending on the size of the hedgehog, this saucer can be used for exercise. Thanks,

Would this be a good size for a mouse or is it too big? I'm looking at getting my mice a wheel and are trying to figure out if i should get them a small or medium wheel.

  1. The medium size is great for mice.  The small will work but they prefer the bigger ones. (I’ve had both sizes in one tank and they always pick the medium one over the small.)

Would this be good for a medium rat or should I get a larger size?

  1. Please don't listen to the person who answered before me, and get the large for your rats! I have two for my ratty duo (one small and one regular) and the large fits both of them.

is this good for teddy bear hamsters?

  1. I would say definitely go one size up , this size is good for robo dwarf hamsters, but these are definitely better than the traditional wheel.

Would this fit a full size rat

  1. A medium excercise is still to small for a full grown rat. You need to get the largest excercise spinner.

What size should I buy for my dwarf hamster? He loves the wheel that can be attached to his cage but its loud so I am looking to get something like this.

  1.  I got the smallest size for my dwarf hamster.  The first one was loud and annoying.  Bought a second one and it was quite.  Spin them in the store to see if they make noise.

What size wheel should I get for a Teddy Bear hamster?

  1. I don't believe I can agree. This wheel might be fine for a syrian / teddy bear hamster for their first four or so months of life, but I had to take it away from my syrian by then and get her a larger red wheel. I heard that male syrian / teddy bears stay smaller than females, so maybe it might work for them. For my female this became a really tight fit, not to mention she looked awkward and imbalanced, and small animals can strain their spine in such a constant situation.

Would this wheel be okay for a full grown gerbil? Or should I go with a small/large?

  1. For reference the size large is for guinea pigs but I felt the small was too small and the medium was slightly too big. I have the size medium for my dwarf hamster who is about 6 inches long. Small animals should be able to straighten their backs while on a wheel so I feel this size is good for that.

Will this work for a rat? I am looking into getting this, but the big wheel will not fit into the cage I am getting!

  1. If you have a baby rat, under 8-12 weeks -yes. Otherwise you need at least a 12" wheel for rats. This size isn't even big enough for a Syrian hamster to use properly.

Would the large wheel be good for guinea pigs?

  1. No You will kill ur guinea pigs if you do this
