Bought on a whim, surpassed expectations

This brush has surprised me. With a 150lb Newfoundland, blowing his winter coat, the brushing time has been significantly decreased. My guy looks gorgeous, my back is happy, my house is free of the hairball confetti.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Solid Slicker Brush Best for Dogs

NightKat

I’ve been using this slicker brush for several months and it’s held up well. I would recommend this brush for dogs rather than cats because of the paddle size. The bristles have held up well to casual use and not deformed. The body of the brush is plastic, but nothing has separated or cracked.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I recently bought this item and was not very happy with it. I felt that for the price it was not worth it. The handle is nice and comfortable in the hand but the bristles don't really catch the hair as well as I thought.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Surprising hit with our short-haired cat!

I have been on the hunt for a great brush for my long-haired cat - the brush tines are either not long enough or too close together for her thick coat. Unfortunately, this one is too short for her fur as well. However, my oldest cat (short-haired) who has never shown any interest in being brushed adores this brush. He rolls around and purrs like a little motor when we bring it out. While not why I got it, it still has a good use!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not A Fan As This Doesn't Fetch the Extra Fur

This Well & Good Prostyle Slicker Brush felt a little large for our medium size dog and honestly didn't work well. It didn't seem to help remove loose fur, and we think it may be better suited for larger dogs with longer fur. Our dog has medium length hair and sheds a ton so we were very hopeful that this could help with the hair piling up around the house but although she would let us comb the hair, nothing really came off when using it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Quality Slicker - A Little Technique Required

Works great to brush my dog when she's actively shedding. The tight pattern of the slicker is able to do a good job capturing loose hair. It works well right after a bath while her fur is still wet. The brush tines a bent at an aggressive angle and sometimes can be too grabby in the fur if the handle isn't upright enough. The handle is large and sturdy making it comfortable to use for a long brushing session.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not the most useful brush

This brush wasn't well received by my dog. She is a golden retriever, Aussie mix and she didn't like it, I think it was pulling out her fur too much. I tried to use it different times and she just wasn't happy with it. Also the brush is very hard to clean.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good size brush for larger dog

Seems like a good, sturdy slicker brush. I like that it has a grippy contourd handle making it easy to use. This brush works especially well for dogs with longer hair or for "feathery" hair on tails and legs to freshen up their look between grooming sessions!

Yes, I recommend this product.
