Great Deshedding Tool

I love the Well & Good ProStyle Dog Deshedding Tool for Small to Medium Breeds. I’m able to use this tool on short hair and long hair. Just slide the lever back to shorten the teeth for short hair or slide it forward to lengthen it for long hair. I really like that when you retract the lever fully you can eject the hair from the tool for easy cleaning. The ergonomic handle is easy to hold. My dog is very happy with this product and I’m impressed with the end results.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good brush!

This is really solid brush and gets the job done. I have a maltese and maltipoo so they don’t shed so much, but this brush is still great at getting tangles and loose hairs. I imagine it works really well for other dog breeds too!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Fantastic Shedding Tool!

This is a fantastic tool for heavy shedders! We have a beagle/basset hound mix who shaved heavily. Regular brushes will get some of the fur, but this shedding tool was able to get much more! It left her coat feeling soft as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a baby that sheds! It also comes with two attachments depending on your needs!

Yes, I recommend this product.

I have two dogs and three ferrets. I love that I can use the same tool for all of them! There are a short hair setting that I use for ferrets, and long hair for the dogs. It is small and easy to use, and always gets plenty of hair when they are shedding.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Decent Brush for smaller dogs and shorter hair

I have two dogs currently. A retriever/collie mix and a corgi. Both dogs shed pretty regularly and I have purchased deshedding brushes in the past. This particular brush worked well for my smaller corgi, but I was not confident/ nor impressed in it's ability to properly get as much hair from my larger dog with longer hair. I have another brand deshedding brush that is metal that I feel works well for my larger dog and was also able to reach a little deeper on my corgi. In all my 3 star rating is based on my personal pet needs, I am also concerned with this products durability as the brush heads are plastic.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Works great for my cat, not my dog!

I was really excited to use this on my dog- she has a thick undercoat that I wanted to help her shed a little in the hot heat of summer. She is a Pit Bull and Great Pyrenees mix, so her fur is very unusual. Coarse and wiry on top, and a thick undercoat that keeps her very hot in summer underneath. However, other than getting a couple of hairs, this brush didn’t really get anything off of her. Then I thought I’d use it on my cat, and wow! It worked really well and she actually enjoyed it. We have the furminator for her and she usually runs away because it is too rough. Not so with this, she sat through it patiently and it got out any clumps as smooth as can be. I think if your dog had fur similar to a cat’s, this little tool would work really well. As it is, my dog has tough wiry fur on top, it didn’t really do much.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great for shorthair dogs!

This deshedding tool worked really well for my three short haired dogs! They enjoyed being brushed. The tool comes with two brushes, one for daily and one for monthly with a thin and a thick side for each. I found the best results with the monthly brush. I couldn't rate this 5 stars because the brush didn't work well on my dog with the thickest and longest fur. It didn't seem to reach the undercoat. Definitely would recommend most for short hair dogs.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Cheaper version of furminator

This product is ok. It does not grab a whole lot of the undercoat or hair and the comb is made of plastic. You can shift it for longer or shorter coats and the only cool thin is you can press a button and the teeth/comb move backwards and the fur pops off so you can dispose of it. I used it on my cat and honestly brushing her was much more effective.

No, I do not recommend this product.
