WAY better alternative to razor brushes

Shepskymomm

PLEASE READ!! I had to write this after reading so many uneducated reviews. This brush is amazing let me start with that. Using a deshedder with a razor isnt recommended to people who arent educated in grooming. You can damage to top coat as well as hurt your dog. This brush does exactly as listed. It ONLY removed the undercoat. It is NOT meant for dogs like dobermans and labs with incredibly short hair. When used properly this brush is great. Its one of the only brushes besides expensive groomer brushes I have found without a razor. Most people dont realize Furminator and those other brands have razors and take off more fur then is actually shedding. As an owner of two double coated dogs completely different sizes and breeds, this brush is worth getting compared to others. Please stay away from razor brushes if you do not know what you are doing.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This brush works well. At first i was unclear about how to put it together, but once i figured it out it was great. The handle feels sturdy and fits in my hand nicely. My dog didn't mind being brushed and it didnt pull the hair.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Maybe this works better on long hair dogs??

As soon as I took the deshedder out of the package, I noticed that the construction / materials used seem weak. I’m not sure this will hold up in the long run. I also tried using this with the short hair setting on my short hair pitbull. She’s been shedding more so I hoped this would help keep the floors cleaner for a bit longer. However, it really didn’t do much for removing any hair. The deshedder remained clean and all hair intact on our pitbull. Maybe this works better on long hair dogs?

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good brush for less than 4 inch long hair

I have a Goldendoodle whose hair is currently 6+ inches long so I have tried every brush out there. This one is a good brush for shorter length hair but it doesn’t get to the mattes when his hair is this long. Overall it’s a good brush but probably only for shorter length hair.
