Tetra Aqua Safe For Reptiles & Amphibians conditions tap water instantly to make it safe for your pet reptiles and amphibians. This liquid formula quickly neutralizes harmful chlorine and chloramines, along with heavy metals such as copper, iron and zinc, that can be found in tap water. This water conditioner is suitable for all aqua-terrariums, and was developed with fragile amphibians in mind, including newts, frogs and salamanders. This formula also includes colloids to help protect the skin of turtles and other species. Appropriate for use around snakes, lizards and all ornamental fish. Treat water when setting up a new aqua-terrarium and with monthly partial water changes or evaporation replacement. The convenient, easy-measure cap makes treatment simple. Use 1 teaspoon to treat 10 gallons of water.

can you use this product and still use Tetra Whisper PF10 Power Filtration System? or do you only choose one?
- Well, you use the water conditioner to remove chlorine and chloramines as well as metals from your tap water. The filter should be on 24/7 to keep the tank oxygenated and cleaned.

I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. Hi, my hatchling red foot tortoise has a problem with keeping his eyes open for very long, he hasn't been eating as much as usual and when he closes his eyes I have to soak him in water to get him to open them back up. When his eyes close it almost looks like they are crusty. I have a cypress mulch and jungle mix substrate in his cage which is about 4 inches at the highest and 1 inch in his basking are but it's kept well watered. Thank You!

This was a pic two weeks ago I have no had a chance wit im to allow me to get another picture. It happened after he shed i live in middle of no where and no vet takes reptiles close by. It has covered his entire eye if i don't soak him for a day it closes permanently unless i use a wet qtip i have used saline on it twice a day but it has done nothing and I am in desperate need of help.
