Questions
Hub question.. If I don't care/want/need the app, do I still need the hub to get the feeder to recognize the cat I want to have access to food?
- No, you don't. One of my cats is not microchipped. The feeder comes with a pendant that you can use for the cat to open the feeder. It works just fine.

I want to buy this for one of my cats so the other stops eating her food. She doesnt have a microchip, can it work by putting a tracker on the collar instead?
- It should include an rfid tag in the box. Just attach it to a collar and it will work.

Do you have to have the hub for the feeder to work
- The hub is what allows your feeder to connect to the PetSure App on your smart phone. This is required so you can set the feeders up to one or mulitple animals and also so you are able to see when your animal accesses the feeder and eats food. So yes, the hub is required.

My cats are on different meds; one is a glutton, the other is a grazer. The glutton wedges in and pushes the grazer out as he’s eating and he (glutton) keeps the cover open with his head. What can I do? Help!
- In my search for a feeder, I did happen to see an optional backplate for this feeder. Good luck with your glutton!

Does it come with a collar or microchip for my cat or would I also need to purchase that separately?
Can I purchase the feeder and still utilize it without purchasing the extra set that provides more specific details?
- Yes, the extra device is only for if you want to be able to remotely monitor the feeder through the app. I have two of these feeders and use them both without the extra device.

What exactly is the purpose of the hub?
- To be able to connect to the app

Can you set up multiple microchips to one bowl? I have four elderly cats and a kitten, so I'm trying to figure out if I would need to buy two bowls or five.
- Yes. I have 3 dogs with their own chip/tag. I think there is a limit as too how many but I can’t remember for sure.

What is the power supply? batteries, ac, usb?
- 4 C batteries

Does it work with two cats on two different diets? It seems there’s only one flap so when it opens either cat would have access to both bowls
- The two bowls in one feeder can be used to separate wet and dry food or for two pets eating the same thing but you want to keep it fresher by having the lid close while not eating. We have a "grazer" who picks at food during the day and it keeps the other pet from eating it. You'd probably want two separate feeders if trying to separate by diet and restrict the other pet's access.
