Place potty pad quilted side up in an open area, and away from your pet's food and bedding. Even though pads have an attractant that lets dogs know to "pee here," it's still a good idea to show your dog exactly where the pad is and that it's their personal potty. Giving your pet praise and the occasional treat after using the pad can help positively reinforce this good behavior. Once your dog is trained to use the pad inside, you can encourage him to use it outside. Start by moving the pad closer to the door, and eventually outside and into a desired area. Pets are less likely to use pads once they're completely soiled, so frequently replacing with clean pads is important. When disposing, lift the corners first to help keep the mess contained.

Is the gel inside these safe? I left one out during a big rain storm (it did a great job absorbing!), but when I picked it up all the gel come out on my deck. I used to a hose to try to get it all off, but I'm assuming it's safe? Any precautions?

my 17 yr. old 5 # Pomeranian (neutered male) has to wear a male wrap, due to frequent wetting in the house... but can wriggle out of it...I found the Vet's Best Perfect Fit ...which sounds like it would work well, but I need a liner that is really absorbent to put in it... Vivi wets the bed in her sleep pretty much every night. I've had her checked out by a vet, gotten blood work done, but everything appears to be normal. The vet gave her tolterodone 4mg twice a day, which seemed to work for a few days at a time but the bed is wet more times than it is dry. She has an enlarged heart and arrhythmia as well. We have 10 cats indoors due to a 2 litter rescue of sisters 2 weeks apart. All but 1 have been spay nurtured. No matter what I do they constantly pee in my counter tops and stove and Im so over it. Hi there, my 8 year old spayed female dog keeps leaking urine when she is lying relaxing. I have been giving her Cranberry Bladder Bites to try help with kidney and urinary strength but it doesn't seem to be helping. What else can you recommend? May thanks!
