I have been using this type of device for over 8 years with my German Shep (decesed 9/7/24) and now I have adopted another 1 1/2 YO Shepherd/Akita mix. I'm still using it but I'm searching for a larger one because this guy of mine can really put out! As far as cleaning, my process is to march into the house 1st floor powder room, put it in the bowl, open and flush. If there is remaining cling-ons I just let soak there awhile swish around and store in plastic shopping bag...done, BTW it has held up and I am still using the same one I bought 8 years ago.

Only a couple months old and the sun warped the jaws.i guess I could put a heat gun to them and re shape them but even plastic is getting crappier.why cant anyone world wide make a friggin crap picker upper that lasts.always something breaking on these things

Works great! But is a pain to clean when finished. We have 2 (one tall and one short) so everyone can help clean the yard.

When your dog poop isnt hard you would mush it by clawing it together with this thing.

It sucks it doesn’t pick up poop at all and was a huge waste of money

I bought a cheaper model, with a straight edge, but this kills it! This one has a zigzag mouth (not sure how to describe it) but it easily picks up the do.

I bought this 3 weeks ago. Works amazing. No more backbreaking to recover. I just rinse and flush in the toilet.
