Reef Builder raises carbonate alkalinity without immediately impacting on pH. With long term use there will be a tendency to stabilize at pH 8.3. Used as directed, Reef Builder will not deplete calcium, magnesium, or strontium which usually tend to precipitate with increasing alkalinity. Reef Builder and Reef Buffer may be used together.

Use 3 g (1/2 level teaspoon) per 150 L (40 gallons) twice a week. Dissolve in at least 250 mL (1 cup) of freshwater. Check alkalinity every 2 weeks and adjust amount or frequency accordingly.

We are new to having aquariums, we really didn't realize so many things played a factor with the water. We currently have a 10 gallon tank but want to increase to a 29 gallon tank. We currently buy gallons of water but with the 29 gallon tank we really don't want to have to do that. We have well water with a salt filter. My levels from to tap was nitrate 10, nitrite 0, hardness 0, chlorine 0, alk 100, ph 7.. is my tap water safe even with the salt filter.
If I make water for salt water fish, about how much sea salt I need to put in water? And does the sea salt must be cleared
Can u suggest me the dosage or direction of giving beapher bone builder powder

Best foods for 29gallon tank with 4Rosaline Sharks, 4Congo Tetras, 1large bushy nosed plecostamus. Vitamins?
Hello! Things didn’t go so well with cichlids and I only have one remaining which I moved to a different tank. The 45 is now empty and the others besides one blue African cichlid has died. I did water tests and most came out fine except the Carbonate hardness which was at a 40. (That’s bad as far as I know if you could clarify that would be great) but I have a goldfish that would do great in there but I’m very attached and I don’t want anything to happen to him as well any idea of what I can do?
My 5gal goldfish tank (for a 4 in goldfish) is currently at a really low pH (6.0-6.4). What is the ideal range for goldfish, what is the best way to alter the pH and how gradually does the change need to be.
Are these steps good for this fish's wound and finrot? Part of the fish fin fell off but it is okay now. We're planning to quarantine him and use aquarium salt. Is there any last minutes subs for the salt? Tomorrow is Christmas so the stores will be closed, and we need to help him asap. so.. Are these steps good and are there any last minute subs?
Hello! I was wondering if you could help me out. The internet doesn’t help out to much and the bottle of the test strips doesn’t tell me the ideal amount some of these should be at. So if you could help me out here I would really appreciate it. And please tell me the amount it should be at and if it isn’t ideal how to improve it please and thank you. My flowerhorn tanks water has exptremely high nitrate level . I returned from vacation yesterday to find a cloudy tank and high levels nitrate . I did a 50% water change and added prime . He now is gasping for air or at least that’s what it looks like and nitrates are still in the red . I was told to add aquarium salts and wait it out . I’m scared I’ll loose him . What should I do quarantine
Fish has white fluffy stuff on gills and eyes as well as what looks like fin rot. We’ve lost almost all the fish in our aquarium… we thought ick initially and have dosed Melafix but it doesn’t seem to be working. They won’t eat, they’re either laying on the ground or floating at the top of the tank gasping ): we have a large tank with several peaceful species and now we’re down to just a handful of fish left. We are devastated.
