The dog bowl itself is nice, however, after using is as a water bowl for awhile, it started to rust and is no longer usable.

The bowl and stand looks awesome. Unfortunately the wood is not properly sealed. We used ours as a water dish and any moisture would make the stain run onto our tile floors. My dog also seemed not to like the smell pf this bowl. She will only drink out of it if there are not other options. Unfortunately this was a bust.

I was an idiot for thinking this tiny little bowl would be suitable for a water bowl. My dog immediately flipped it off the pedestal and played with the bowl and the pedestal. The wood of the pedestal didn't even last long enough for me to get it away from my pup. May be good for a dog who doesn't try to make everything a toy.

I like the look of this bowl and the size; however, it is very poorly made. I bought 2 of them and both of the bases are flimsy and inconsistent. I love the bowl, it is a nice weight and shape, which is why I gave 3 stars. It is definitely not worth the money, even with the nice bowl.

Nice and sturdy bowl with wooden stand. Recommended for a smaller sized dog that needs a lifted bowl. Decorative enough to leave out in the open without worrying it looks like a messy dog dish.****

This stainless steel bowl makes for easy cleaning and also keep bacteria at bay. I also like that it’s raised for my larger dogs for both food and water purposes. I would get a slightly bigger bowl though for large dogs (mine are 75 and 85lbs respectively). Mine holds three cups, but seems small despite the ability to hold quite a bit of food.

We have been using this bowl for our Chihuahua to eat from. It is the perfect height for her and super easy to clean. The stand makes it pretty sturdy and it is not easily knocked over. Overall very happy with this bowl.

How high does it lift the bowl off the ground? (distance from bottom of bowl to the ground)?

Not very high. My German shepherd lays down to eat so does my red heeler. I would estimate less than six inches. The stand also fell apart. Not a very good food bowl, in my opinion. I would suggest spending a little more and getting a taller bowl.
