What is the best dog bowl material that is non toxic, going to stay clean, not get a film at the bottom and not harbor bacteria?
Raised dog feeding stands, good or bad for large breed dogs?
How many cups per day should we feed an american bulldog 3 month old puppy
Hi, I have three adult Purebred American Staffordshire Terriers what would you say is the best affordable Dry food for them?
This is Kyro, my 1st dog I've had for 7 months. In 7 months he went from 75lbs to 85. Was feeding 2 cups twice daily of "Diamond All Natural Beef Meal & Rice" with piece of Roast Beef with a teaspoon of some kind of gravy & 1 Milkbone, 1 bully stick, 2 Grain fee treats daily. I cut back to 1 cup with Roast beef twice daily. I don't want to starve him but I want to keep his defined stomach. He won't eat unless the Roast beef & gravy is in his food. Bag of food says 4 cups daily. Any suggestions?
Our 45lb 8 month puppy has had liquid diarrhea on/off the last 48 hours. Yesterday a drop of bright red blood appeared. Should we be concerned? Currently feeding 2 cups dry food -see pic-, 2-3 frozen carrots/day, occasional frozen peanut butter. Maybe peanut butter was causing it so we stopped that but then blood appeared we are worried now. No other health issues. Energy and appetite normal.
I adopted a very overweight dog. I am working on weight management and she has lost some weight but I'm concerned as she gobbles her food down literally in a minute. I just bought the puzzle bowl but she can only reach one morsel at a time using her tongue as she is a big dog. This doesn't seem right either but I don't know. It definitely slowed her eating. Advice please.
Best dog food for small not active 10/1/2 yr old Chin
My dog does exceptionally well on Natural Balance L.I.D. Small breed bites, is this a high quality brand, or are brands like Fromm and Acana better? She has the best stool on the Natural Balance for whatever reason. Is it ok to just stick with that brand? The darker colored stools are from Natural Balance. The middle one is on Fromm I believe. Thanks!
How much food do I feed a 3 and 1/2 month lab puppy? Her puppy Food bag (natural balance) says 2-3 cups, but at the end of the day she has a big belly
My dog has a sensitive stomach. She has been getting Blue Buffalo and my vet said blue Buffalo wasn’t a good food. I give her kibble and then a homemade mixture of rice and ground meat with veggies. Can you give me three kibble choices I should give my dog and could I still add the homemade mixture with it? Thanks.
Hi, is it necessary or benificial to add water to dry kibble and soak it before feeding? Will this enable them to digest the kibble better? I heard this is helpful and comparable to feeding a canned diet. I would add 1/2 cup per 1/3 cup of kibble. This would make it resemble a canned diet of 80% moisture. Is this a good idea? Also, do you recommend a slow feeder bowl for fast eaters? Or is it ok to use a regular bowl? Mine eats her serving in under a minute (1/3 cup kibble)
