Size large rubbed my dogs armpits raw Full grown French bulldog

Difficult to adjust and place on dog. Size L? Not sure what is considered L.

First, all 19 of the existing reviewers note that they received the harness for free, so keep that in mind. I, unfortunately, paid full price for it, and I have mixed feelings about it. It's a standard figure-8-style harness made of heavy reflective webbing with a single metal buckle and two metal leash attachment points... that's all. Some simple padding and/or a liner facing the dog's fur would make a big difference, as would the ability to adjust the length of the webbing spanning from the chest to the belly. That said, it does seem to be built well, so I do recommend it if you can buy it at a discount. If you have to pay full price, there are better options.

This harness is definitely reflective and I would feel safe having our dog out on a walk at night with this harness on. Every angle is reflective and bright! The only issue we had with the harness was that the measurements didn't quite fit our puppy. Otherwise a great product!

Product largest size does not fit XL mastiff breed as stated. It would not even fit over his head. I like that it’s reflective. The edging could use a soft piece so that it doesn’t chafe a dog, I gave it to a friend and put soft material on it.

I could not use the collar. I selected medium and it was smaller then I expected. It did not fit my dog very well. I did like the criss cross design and the clips seemed sturdy. This is the first product my dog didnt try to excape out of even if it was a bit snug.

This is a high quality harness. The hardware and fabric are great. Nice and tough but not bulky or heavyweight. The recommended size for my dogs weight fit very well. There’s lots of room to adjust. It sort of helps to deter pulling but the harness just gets twisted to the side, so it’s not a guaranteed solution to that. But a great harness and love the option to hook the leash in different places.

First off the hooks and clasps are heavy and trustworthy and the straps are good material. The adjustment process isnt too difficult. I did not like that there wasnt a way to adjust the front chest strap for longer chested breeds.
