I don't really understand the purpose of this. I thought it might be good for feeding my dog peanut butter during bath time, but it's too bulky/floppy for that. I wish the back of it had suction cups instead of the holders for the cord. I like that it's dishwasher safe, but I'm dubious that it will clean well given all the flaps. If your dog is super anxious in the car or on the go, then this lick mat might be slightly less of a mess to deal with, since there are flaps to contain the food and the whole thing rolls up.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Didn’t live up to our expectations

We really wanted to like this because its a unique design but it just didnt live up to our expectations. The material is a thick, durable silicone which is great for pets. According to the directions, there are two ways to use this, one as a lick mat and another for treats. The flaps are too open so its too easy for treats to be found unlike a snuffle mat. A lick mat may be a possibility but the item wouldnt stick to the floor. We tried adding a little water to the suction cups but that still didnt work. We realized its because it was almost too flat to create a suction. I like that the parts underneath the flaps had grooves so anything you spread will stick and stay better. A few stars for the idea and materials, this also may work for a smaller dog but for ours, it didnt work out.

Good for travel

I have 2 chihuahuas who have a different puzzle that they have to work at to get treats. This silicone mat was not challenging enough for them but if we are traveling and I want to have them play this game, then this will work. they were able to get to the treats very easily. I'm sure if you used peanut butter or some other paste treat, it would be better but I use their dry kibble or small treats and they finished it lickity split!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Too easy to figure out!

This silicone treat “puzzle” is alright. I’m not overly enthusiastic about it because it was quite simple for my dog to figure out and would gobble all the hidden treats in no time at all! I did have more success using a little bit of peanut butter under the flaps—this seemed to keep her a bit more distracted as she worked her way through each flap. Another issue o had with putting little treats was that they’d move or fall out if you moved the mat, so it was just a bit inconvenient. I haven’t had success with the suction cups on the back working, but it didn’t more around all that much and so wasn’t an issue. Washing it is easy, which is a plus. Overall, if you have a highly treat/food driven dog, maybe choose something more challenging for them. For everyone else, this can offer a nice little change to the routine, but don’t expect this to occupy your dog for a long time!
