The story of how my family comes across cats is a bit interesting, but basically we've been helping stray cats in the neighborhood and slowly getting them used to human contact so they can be fixed. One of the cats we've had visit us since she was a baby is smaller than some cats born a year later. I am worried about her, but I can't afford to take her to a vet as I'm in college, and other than being small she isn't appearing sick. Should I be worried about her size if she's healthy otherwise?

I rescued my cat from a neighbor, she was 8 was old and the mother had taken off, the father was their cat and clearly not neutered. Emma now is almost 5 mo old. She likes to suckle on my clothes, near my arms or neck, that is ok but of course she has nails, and kneads them into my skin as she is doing this.
