I have four cats. There is a real Christmas tree set up with a large water basin that has pine needles from the tree in it. My cats seem to like to drink that water despite having fresh water of their own a few feet away. Is it okay for them to drink the tree water?

Are there any cat food toppers that I can use to get my cat to eat more, she stopped eating all dry food now she only eats wet food and she loves to lick off my coconut oil from my hand. I'm making a wood finish for cat furniture and I'm wondering if there is anything all natural I can add to discourage chewing. An essential oil maybe, or are they all potentially toxic? Ideally it would smell good to humans and taste bad to cats. The only other ingredients are pure soap flakes and water.
