This toy is NOT worth the money. Tried opening the cap, and it was cross threaded or something. Could not get it off. Slow feed was just a waiting game as the treats fell out right away.

For what this product is, it's far too expensive. I should've realized that before I bought it and just bought a Kong toy from the dog aisles. Plus my cat can't quite figure out that the ball will drop treats even after showing him several times.

Despite there being “multiple settings,” the treats are either completely locked in, with all crevices fully closed, or easy to retrieve, as all of the other settings just allow the treats to tumble out immediately. My two kitties lost interest after 5-10 minutes and haven’t used it in a while.

I have a 3 yr old who loves her "Kong" kitty treat toy, she has no problem working it out. However I have a 13 yr old (who we lovingly call "dumb-dumb") he cannot work out how to use the Kong toy, so this toy he can use and loves it (have to keep it away from the 3 yr old b/c she can empty it out in a moment :)

My cat loves this feeder. It keeps him from eating so fast he gets sick and affords him the adventure of finding new and exciting places in our tiny apartment to hide it every day. 30 minutes a day (every. single. day.) of him yowling at me while i hunt for his nerf ball. Endlessly entertaining for him. Good value.

I use this to slow feed two kittens their dry kibble. Works great. Unlike the previous reviewer, mine locks tightly. Has been in daily use for 2+ months. Had to fiddle with which opening to use at first to dispense the right amount (not too fast). I live in an upstairs apartment. I do take it up off the hardwood floors at night because it can be noisy when they really get after it. No noise at all on the carpet, but its hard to tell cats to "use it here, not here..." :-)

The ball lid won’t lock. I followed all the directions clearly and it won’t lock.
