Hi, I have a great Pyrenees's/Anatolian shepherd. She's almost 6yrs old, 105 lbs She has arthritis in her hind legs and back. Her vet has her on osteo biflex and prevocox 227 mg daily. She's active. But getting up and moving around for the first couple minutes is really hurting her. After that she moves stiffly. What else can I do for her?

I feed him 4 lbs of senior grain morning and night at the previois recommendation of my vet, he has access to grass and hay, but he still looks like hes neglected. My horse got some hoary allysium in her hay and it caused her to have severe stocking up in her legs to the point I was worried she would founder. We live rurally and it can be hard to get a vet here. If this happens again i am wondering what can I give her to help her- would bute work? I also would like advice for preventing this from happening again...? I am not in a position to get rid of all my hay that we are saving for winter! Thanks for your time :)
