I just bought this one and the Poultry Variety Pack and on closer look at the ingredients, I see "natural flavor". Normally in human foods means MSG. Is it possible there is MSG in this food? The cats love it I won't deny that!
- I believe that natural flavors in both pet food and human food typically refers to extracts, oils, or essences (sometimes fluids or juices). It does not refer to monosodium glutamate. The FDA requires MSG to be listed as monosodium glutamate. By law, MSG cannot be listed as flavorings or spices.

I've been feeding my cats Candidae food, dry hairball control kibble and wet food 2x/day. They like the dry, but LOVE the wet. However t's quite expensive and that brand only carries 3 oz cans of wet food which makes calculating feeding amounts difficult. My cat has been puking up to 4-5 times a day. We have her on grain free food. She is indoor only. She has no access to chemicals. She poops regular. She has access to her food all day. Puke doesn’t look out of the regular. Just looks like chewed up food. What do I do to help her not puke.
my 12 year old cat was recently diagnosed with early stages of kidney disease. i had her eating the dry food from Hills K/D and she was ok with that. Then i moved her to the wet food because she stopped eating the dry. now she’ll eat the wet food for a day or so and then refuses. the only food she never misses a meal is fancy feast pate and blue buffalo healthy gourmet pate. i know commercial food isn’t great, but are either of these foods near the percentile a kidney cat needs?

One of the many options I have considered for my senior cat with FLUTD is giving him an all canned food diet. He currently eats dry food and some wet. When I look at the can, the feeding suggestions state 1 can per 2.5 pounds. So that would be about 4 cans. He’s lucky to finish an entire can in a day. Does this indicate that a canned diet might not be best or do some cats eat less than than that suggestion or because he has dry too? I’ve only ever gave cats dry food so this all new to me. Thanks
Hello my cat is not well. I was feeding her Acana Wild Prairie...and i switched foods to another...that she would not eat. At first I thought she was just being fussy (she is a cat). But then she stopped eating anything. I went out and bought her Acana Wild Prairie again, and as soon as I got home she ate a bunch. About 10 mins later she puked it all up. Since then she has only been eating very smalll amounts of anything. She also has been sick about 6 times in the last week. He
