I bought this surprisingly for my cat and my dog. My cat hated it, my dog liked it played with it for a while. My cat now loves it, and so do my three new puppies. It's hard enough they don't rip through it and they like to "teeth" on it since they are 3 month old puppies.

This toy is cute and sturdy. One of my cats likes it as she chooses it regularly over other toys. She like to bat it around and chew on it. I think she prefers it cause it is stiffer than their other toys. It's a nice addition to my cats' toy collection.

We received this item for free from Spotted by Petco program. I knew immediately that my 8 year old cat Rizzo would love this toy, as he loves carrying around larger stuffies and leaving them as gifts around the house. This has been waiting at the door for me daily when I get home, and I sometimes wake up with it on the pillow next to my head. It’s definitely a fast favorite!

Initially one of my cats was more interested in the box it came in: classic cat behavior. Once I put additional catnip from my own supply on the toy, he got interested in it and my other cat came by and they had a little swat battle over it, so it's good enough to fight over, apparently. The toy does appear very sturdily constructed to stand up to bunnykicks. The color is cute and the size is big enough for kicking. One star docked because it doesn't seem to have a strong catnip scent by itself.

The Leaps & Bounds Shark Cat Toy is adorable LOL... no fear here! My kitties took to him immediately. First he was batted around, tossed, in the air - and then ... the bunny kicks & biting. Through it all, not a single hole, tear, or rip - very impressed. This little guy is tough for sure & always ready for play... and naptime. He's well-protected for sure LOL. Cat Mom gives 2 fins up.... 5 Stars!

The quality of the shark is excellent. It is well constructed and durable. Sadly, my kitties have not shown any interest in playing with it for very long. I do recommend it to others if there is kitty interest because of the quality.

I tried this out with my youngest cat. She normally goes crazy for toys and jumps right on them but for some reason this was just meh for her. We had to really move it around in front of her to even pay attention to it and even then she abandoned it quickly for others. I don’t think it gave off much catnip smell either and it’s rather stiff.

This shark is brightly colored, very tough, and a good size for a cat to kick around. It seems super hardy and like it could really withstand a beating. This is great, because when my cat loves a toy he will tear it to shreds the same way as a dog could. My cat was interested in it initially and played with it a bit for a couple days, but now it's sitting forgotten in the corner. I think it would be a bit better if it were just a bit larger, so he could really wrestle with it.
