Gibbs my new 1yr old cat, he's familiar with the pink round platform ball trackor on the left. Because he had one to play with at the Northshore Animal League. At 1st he's would pounce the scratch not understanding he could scratch it as well, until I pour a little catnip on it..its organic, but wondering if it's alright brand? Or if there is a better idea to help him also understand vertical scratch post as well. as you can see he understands, he's not grasping vertical post besides walls/sofa
She jumps up to her to ledge and I am just wanting to know of it is healthy for her to jump that high sometimes she uses her log house to climb on for a higher jump but mostly she jumps over so is it healthy for her to jump this high
My fat cat is not very active and I don't know what toys to use-she usually play's with a small rubber type of toy but she sometimes eats the heads off She has a rubber grape she carries around Is this bad? Any toy recommendations?
Hi, my cat is now 9 years old. My beds are very high and she's been able to jump up on them at night to sleep with me. I felt it was good exercise for her, being an indoor cat. However, lately she has been struggling and has even fallen trying to jump on the bed. What would you recommend? A pet ladder, maybe?
My G. Shepherd can run as fast as Greyhound. She's barely 2 but she used to jump in bed. Now she climbs (like struggling) to get up. Is she just lazy to jump or do you think it coud be hip displacia? Like I said Ive been around greyhounds. She is that fast. Not sure if relevant but I would think so. Started giving her joint treats hopefully that will help? By the way its pretty knew. Used to jump fences.
My cat jumped off a ledge by our shower. About 3 feet. And is now limping, left front leg. He has the ability to move the leg, but does not put pressure on it when standing or walking.
I have changed Buddy's play pen twice because he jumps out if them. I step out for approximately an hour leaving him in his playpen with his pee pad, his bed, a blanket, his favorite toy, and he still jumps out. I make sure all doors are closed, and nothing of danger around, but i dont want him jumping over his play pen. HELP WHAT CAN I DO
my cat is about 21 months old and has chewed up most of the electrical wires in the house we have covered them all with protective tubing but he stills loves to chew. I believe he is a belanise cat. what is a safe chew toy that I can get him. he is very faithful with a loving disposition. he does not like it when I have to go to work. he also loves to jump on my back or curl up around my neck
We recently replaced the carpeting in our house with hardwood floors. My 13-year-old healthy cat likes to jump up/down the furniture and shelves and I worry that the impact of the landings is hard on his joints. Should I buy rugs for him to land on? If so, what products would be helpful?
This is Dexter, my gorgeous 7 year old rescued hound, & his 4 year old ball. He loves his ball & can find it anywhere we hide it in the house or yard. 2nd picture is his new ball. It squeaks like his old ball & smells like bacon. He seemed to like new ball & we played inside for a couple hours off & on. When I took him outside & threw it he ran to the ball sniffed it &walked away. The only ball he brings is the old one. What should I do? Thanx. Carolyn.
Fraying front paw pads!
Can you buy rabbit toys at a pet store?
