My kitten is a little bit too much playful. He only wants to play and jump around. If I want to pet him he starts to bite my hand and play with it. Ever since our kitten (now about 7 months) came to us at six weeks, he scratches compulsively at his right ear while he is playing. This increases significantly now that catnip works on him and he plays with a catnip beaver. None of our previous cats did anything like this...and he has no mites or fleas. But when he arrived, he had fleas, mites, a huge tick on that side, and came from a huge collection of cats propagating in someone's shed. Since he has been here he has regular vet care and tlc.
