How do I get my kitten to get used to her new bell collar? She keeps trying to catch it.
Hello. I have two cats. One likes to play with balls and chase small toys; whereas the other one only likes to play with pointers. I have read some opinions against this way to entertain the cats because they argue that it can stress the animals and generate anxiety when they don't receive rewards for their actions. I would like to hear an authorized opinion. Thanks!
My cat only likes toys with some type of string but then he chews thru them and won’t play with them anymore. What type of toys would be best?
I have an older yellow lab that gets bored really easily. He gets bored with kongs and is an extreme chewer so rawhides or other chewies disappear SUPER fast! He is very intelligent and I was thinking of getting him a puzzle toy that involves treats as he is EXTREMELY food motivated! Since he's so smart should I still start him on the most basic puzzle or try something harder? I don't want to waste money on toys he'll go through really fast. And are there any other sorts of toys you can suggest?
Why does my dog circle around our table before she jumps? She only started doing this recently
My cat won't stop jumping on our kitchen counters looking for food and eating out of the sink. We cant keep any food out. Ive spoken to our vet and nothing she can do. It's my fault. When she was a kitten, in my apartment I would feed her off my counter, chicken ect. But now I'm in a house with my husband and newborn and she won't stop searching. We've tried everything, tapes, scat mat, machines that puff air ect. I'm thinking about invisible fence inside my home. What should I do?
My cat does not like toys, I really want to entertain him so he won’t become bored however it seems like nothing entices him. I’ve tried teasers, balls, crinkles, interactive toys, toys with food, catnip. You name it. I asked a vet on here but she told me to try the same toys Ive been trying to get him to play with. What do I do?
My cat has a habit of jumping on furniture and I was wondering if there was some wood safe repellent I could use to keep her from jumping on it when I’m not home
My fat cat is not very active and I don't know what toys to use-she usually play's with a small rubber type of toy but she sometimes eats the heads off She has a rubber grape she carries around Is this bad? Any toy recommendations?
This is Dexter, my gorgeous 7 year old rescued hound, & his 4 year old ball. He loves his ball & can find it anywhere we hide it in the house or yard. 2nd picture is his new ball. It squeaks like his old ball & smells like bacon. He seemed to like new ball & we played inside for a couple hours off & on. When I took him outside & threw it he ran to the ball sniffed it &walked away. The only ball he brings is the old one. What should I do? Thanx. Carolyn.
I need to teach a very rambunctious stubborn cat who loves breaking things to not get on my table of wine glasses and decanters. I'm considering purchasing this product to help, but I'm unsure if it's safe. It's compressed air with tetrafluoroethane as a propellant and it would spray directly onto the cat as the table is only a foot wide. Is it safe to use? Or is there an alternative way to ensure he doesn't get on the table when I'm not around?
My 7 month old miniature dachshund has begun obsessing with reflections and will stare at the wall just waiting for one to appear. I played with him using a laser once when he was a puppy before I learned that you were not supposed to. I don’t want this behavior to get any worse and I was hoping you would have advice as to how to stop this. Thank you.
