Isn’t lavender highly toxic for cats??

Hi Megan11314096, Good day! While it’s been reported that lavender can be toxic to cats, a cat would have to ingest very large amounts of a lavender plant to experience a problem. Petco uses dried lavender in this blend, which contains lower amounts of concerning oil compounds that a cat’s body is unable to process. This catnip blend is not meant for regular ingestion, but incidental ingestion in small amounts is not expected to cause a problem. Thanks,
