This is a great product for when you are gone for a long period of time. We had to leave for a week and we have a 30 gallon fish tank. We put one of these in the tank and I was a little nervous at first that it wouldn’t be enough. To my surprise, we came home and our fish were alive and doing great! What a sigh of relief. It does leave a little bit of residue but that goes away after a week or so. Great product!

This was easy to use and fed my zebra danios over school vacation. I didn’t notice any increase in the dirtiness of the tank. I didn’t use the whole thing as the break was about 10 days, but I returned to happy fish.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I got this for my husband, who has several good-sized fish tanks. It was large, as evidenced by the photo. The fish seemed to enjoy it, and it sustained them for the entirety of our vacation. The only issue is that we don’t often go away for two weeks at a time, so it is more than what would be necessary for a regular vacation.
