I bought this about 3 years ago for my Betta fish, and both 2 got stuck inside and passed away. My oldest fish passed away about 1 week ago, and got stuck and passed away. Then I bought a new Betta about 4 days ago, and I found it stuck inside of this castle. And it passed away. Overall, 2 of my bettas were very healthy, and both passed away. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Absolutely do not buy this. My beautiful fish squeezed into the small window because the top is also hollow. He got stuck and Jen he finally got out, it ripped him apart :(((((

I’ve bought this castle twice now. My Betta loves it and sleeps inside the castle. The first time I bought it, the castle broke in half from the stairs. It lasted about a month and Broke during our weekly tank cleaning. My fish was so depressed when he noticed his tank was empty. Went back to the store and purchased a new one. Our betta is back to his happy self.

I bought this for a 5 gallon tank, for our red Betta fish Bubbles. The inside of this castle is hallow and we found our betta upside down fin stuck on the inside just under the two towers. We could NOT dislodge him and had throw away the castle and the fish. This was hard because my kids really loved their Bubbles. I hope this review will help prevent other freak accidents from happening to any other fish owner.

I bought this for my betta about a year and a half ago, and he loved sleeping inside it. The only problem is that the hole isn't the only "opening" we see. If you look inside, there's an opening within the castle fixture itself above the hole. My betta one night got himself wedged into it and couldn't get out. I had to pull him out because of that, and he got very injured the process. I just want everyone to be aware.

I Would say about 9 to ten inches long. We have a betta and can go through comfortably. About 4 or 5 inches wide.

no one is going to by any of these decorations for aquariums if you don't have any of the dimensions??? The first 5 little houses I selected had no dimensions. I just stopped looking???
