Pellets to small for African grey parrot.

LKL56

My African grey holds food with her foot to eat and I don’t know why companies make African grey pellets so small. She did not like these little pellets at all.

No, I do not recommend this product.

My African gray absolutely loves this. I mix it with his pellets and he eats this first. It’s definitely a better option than Zupreem which has artificial ingredients.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My parrots all eat this, from the Goffins too, through African Redbellied Parrot, down to the Greencheeked Parrot. When Skittles gets fiesty, he shares his pellets with the bichon. It's all good!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Both my birds (Congo African Grey and Senegal Parrot) love these pellets. They have eaten them for years and are very healthy with beautiful plumage. They especially like the red ones.

Hopefully my bird will like this

New for my bird, at first she wouldn't eat it. I used a food chopper and choped it some. I put it in with her food she was eating. She is eating it now and likes it. I choose this food because of the great ingredients. Has so much good things in it and it's a pellet, which I read is healthier for her.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Which size pellet would be appropriate for both a Quaker and Indian Ring Neck?

  1. Thank you for your question. This product is only available in one size.

why do the african grey parrrots not like the green color food?

  1. All parrots have different color preferences. My Grey likes the green pellets best, and doesn't care so much for the red ones. The purple ones are her second favorite. My Quaker parrot doesn't care what color the pellets are and will eat them all.
