Directions: Rinse insert thoroughly before use. Remove cover of Aqua Clear 150 Filter and pull up filter basket. Place Amrid Filter Insert on top of Ultragrade Carbon Insert. Place insert vertically into third chamber to install in Aqua Clear Junior Filter. Rinse insert weekly. For best results, replace insert every month, more often if necessary. Never replace all filter inserts simultaneously. Alternate replacement of filter media allows the biological action of beneficial nitrifying bacteria to remain uninterrupted. Net wt. 3.875 oz.

How to do clean water which fill in aquarium if doesn't have water conditioner?
I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. Will a UV sterilizer help ?? Please advise. Thanks Lina
Is activated carbon good to use in an aquarium with surgeon fish?

How to disinfect dry aquarium used soil after six months ?....I can replaced before 6 months for aquarium snail(reason)...It's very high quantity...So I take out from planted aquarium
So I've been thinking about getting an axolotl, but I'm a bit confused as I've never had any type of aquarium. My question is: I've been told to get an Aquaclear 50 HBO filter (plus a sponge one for extra bio media), and to slow the flow by placing plants and things under it. But this specific model's slowest flow is 250 l/h, which might be too little for a 90l tank. But if I set it up to 370 or so (which I find would be the best), the flow might be too strong for the axie! Any solutions? <3
I’m trying to cycle a 10 gal fish tank. I have been adding your biological booster for a month now and nothing is happening. The ammonia is holding steady at .5 ppm and I’m not seeing any nitrites. Is there a way I can test to see if there are actually live bacteria in the booster. I’ve checked everything else I can think of.
