Hi! I'm looking for a bit of help. It was cold outside so I let my dog inside, but when I went to pet him he let out a cry. I'm assuming arthritis? My car is broken and I don't have a vet in town. Any suggestions on what I should do until I can get him to a vet's office?
My dog has arthritis and Friday was vomiting. Now today she won’t get up and she isn’t eating. She also is shivering so we have covered up. Is there anything else I can do to make her more comfortable
I got a wooden house for the dog, i will put warm blankets on the inside, and her pillow/bed on the inside. The door is plastic three stripes. Can I leave her to sleep and stay at the balcony at night or during the day ? temperature goes down to -5 celsius
Ok so I have an issue. Its getting cold here and we are looking at some very heavy snow this year. All three of our dogs are rather thin coated. The older two refuse to potty outside if its too cold. Would sweaters help? Also the youngest is less than two pounds (tiny chihuahua mix) and even though he's not allowed outside yet we like 2 to 4 inches above our floor tend to get cold no matter what temperature we keep the house at how can I help him stay warm?
i have a black and tan bluetick coonhound will it hurt her if she sleeps under my bed covers all night long
My dog was taken to a groomer today& was forced to stand up on all fours on a small table for 2+ hrs straight. She's a 165lb St. Bernard,& gets drained from even running for less than 5min. She's extremely lively and always gets up when someone comes home, she hears the ice machine, or wants to follow her family into another room. But after she came home she did none of that. She can't get up st all and barely made it home. Ive been icing her legs. How can I properly treat this muscle fatigue??
My mothers two huskies got into a fight and one of the dogs leg is bleeding a little not a lot and she won't walk on it or come out from under the bed what can I give her for pain relief until taking her to the vet in the morning
My dog seems to be in pain , he doesn’t want to move out his bed
So my dog keeps peeing in her kennel. I have started making more frequent potty breaks and that has helped some. But she still has accidents about twice a week. So I have thought about getting her a smaller kennel. She is in a 42’’ wire kennel. She can lay in a ball in the corner of it and not take up much room. She is too tall for a smaller kennel. What should I do? Also she had had all her bloodwork done and nothing is wrong. She is 30’’ tall and 30’’ long.

So I took in a stray that is at least five years old and has rather obviously had it rough. I am keeping him segregated and also set up a cat condo for him in said room, which he tends to stay in, sleeping (the condo, I mean). I bought him this nice, plush self warming bed that he is absolutely rejecting. Seriously, he'd rather sleep on bare floor than this bed. But he'll rub on it and lean against it to sleep. Why does my guy hate his bed? *note, I have provided him with soft blankets he loves.
My dog found a tiny hole in the couch and put some fibrous stuffing in her mouth. I saw her do it and removed the stuffing. She fell asleep and keeps waking up and coughing like something is in her throat. What should I do?
