Awesome for your betta

I usually use the Imagitarium betta water but have been having trouble buying it, and a lady suggested this water was better for rainbow dash, my betta, I got the first bottle in February 2023, it’s April now and I changed his water out because we moved to a different home for him, he is still alive and happier with the new choice of betta water

Yes, I recommend this product.

I recently bought this and used it during a change of water. Betta 1 died that night after having it for 2 years. Bought another betta and that one died after a few hours.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not sure if this is better than the water I condition myself but no one has died yet so that’s a plus.

Purchased a couple of bottles a few weeks ago and I’m glad I did. One of my bettas had became sick and I was trying all types of treatments on him. I’m not new to the hobby so of course I was checking the water parameters(which were fine). Went back to my local Petco and came across this gem. I knew all about the benefits from the use of Almond leaves so I decided it was worth the try. Granted it is a bit pricey but it was beneficial for my betta. After a quick water change he started to come back around. Literally, I just poured the water into the tank and placed an Almond leaf in his tank. By the end of the week he was making a bubble nest!

Yes, I recommend this product.

How much do you use for a 15 gallon tank?

How much do you put in a 3 gallon tank?

Can this be used as a water conditioner or should this be added after the water conditioner?

      1. Most water conditioners work as dechlorinators that remove chlorine, chloramine and heavy metals. Some detoxify ammonia and nitrite which are both harmful to fish. Indian almond aka catappa leaves (or IAL for short) release tannins which darken water to reduce stress as well as humic and other beneficial acids which is proven to induce healing and increase immunity to bacterial infections and other diseases (not including most parasites like Ich). Tinted water via tannins from botanicals such as catappa "conditions" water by adding beneficial elements but doesn't detoxify or dechlorinate. You'd need a separate "conditioner" (try Seachem Safe or Prime) for this.
