Under the sea, life is always a party! And just like any good party, you want to make sure everything is balanced and healthy. Keep your fish and plant life thriving with Fluval's Phosphate Test Kit! This kit accurately measures water parameters so you can kick back and relax knowing your aquatic friends are taken care of.

  • - Say goodbye to undesirable algae! When organic matter decays and fish waste is produced, phosphates are released into the water. This can lead to pesky algae growth and inhibit the growth of hard corals. Don't let that happen to your underwater paradise!
  • - Be cautious of your tap water. Sometimes it can be a sneaky source of phosphates! If that's the case, make sure to pre-treat it before adding it to your aquarium
  • - Test as needed - because who doesn't love a good excuse to play with cool gadgets?
  • - The kit is compact and easy-to-use, making it perfect for both newbies and seasoned aquarists alike
  • - With accurate readings, you'll be able to adjust your water conditions as necessary, ensuring a happy and healthy environment for all your aquatic buds
  • - Plus, at 4.7" L x 5.5" W x 2" H, this kit won't take up too much precious space in your underwater kingdom!

Not for reef tanks

The lowest reading is .25 which is too high for reef tanks where you need .01 increments (.01-.03 is a good range for reef). Test tube has a round bottom and does not stand up by itself. Maybe okay for freshwater or fish only saltwater, but there are better options out there.

No, I do not recommend this product.
